People and Development Advisor
Kate joined Westera Partners in 2021, bringing over two decades of post-graduate experience as a HR generalist spanning all aspects of the employee lifecycle across government, private, and not-for-profit, sectors.
Before transitioning to Westera Partners, Kate’s roles have included large-scale industrial recruitment; staff coaching and training implementation to boost community engagement levels in social housing; change management, system implementation and bespoke training for social workers in child protection; industrial relations advisory, line-manager training, learning and development frameworks, international skill exchange initiatives and payroll transition projects in public health; and job evaluation, coaching, workforce planning and transitional support through large-scale restructuring in tertiary education. Having worked in Australia, the UK, and Europe, she brings a diverse perspective to her role.
Kate works with Managers to bring out the best our skilled staff have to offer. She is loyal, inclusive, and exemplifies Westera Partners’ overriding principle of putting people first in all business dealings aligned with our values-driven approach that has made us who we are today. Since joining our business, Kate has implemented meaningful improvements to our employee rewards and recognition offering and our staff onboarding, induction and professional development processes that highlight our core values and benefit employee engagement and retention.
